SCHOLARSHIPS & GRANTS

SHGEC has a separate cell for Scholarship and the estimated scholarship disbursed to the students for previous 2 years is approx Rupees 20 lakhs.

The process to avail scholarship is made easier by the continuous support provided by the scholarship cell which includes

  • Simplified process for the students
  • Common application form for all scholarships
  • Onetime registration of students
  • Scheme for which a student is eligible is suggested by scholarship cell based on eligibility criteria.
  • Improved transparency
  • Elimination of duplicate applications
  • alerts at every step of scholarship process
  • Scholarship amount is credited directly to students account.

MYSY Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • Any student who gets all over percentile or science the theory percentile >= 80 in 12th Science and >= 65 % for Diploma Students who gets direct admission in 2nd Year
  • Parents income is less than or equal to 6 Lakhs

Documents required for applying for MYSY Scholarship

  • Photocopy of Aadhar card
  • 12thMarksheet/ Diploma Marksheet
  • Admission Letter
  • Photocopy of Fee Receipts
  • Affidavit (in Original) as per the Format
  • Income Certificate (From Mamlatdar or TDO)
  • Fee Receipts of Hostel and Food Bill
  • Photocopy of First page of  Bank Passbook (Nationalized Banks)

Benefits

  • Students get 50% of Tuition Fee or Rs. 50,000 per Year, whichever is less
  • Students who are studying outside of their resident taluka and do not get admission in government / grant in aid hostels are eligible to get Rs. 1200/- per month for 10 months
  • One time Rs. 5000 for books and Instruments etc.
